Why Our Library Matters

Our library volunteers are grateful to work as stewards of the library resources.  It is a support ministry of the church, equipping members with resources for learning, teaching, growing in Christ, Bible study, leisure and more.
2 Timothy 4:13 indicates how even Paul, with all his experience and knowledge, still needed and wanted books!
Our library is a tool that can be used by the members for learning and teaching, supporting and growing.

How to Borrow

Simply browse the collection, choose the item you wish to borrow and then ask one of our library volunteers to check it out to you.  That's it!
You can borrow items for 2 weeks.  When you bring them back, just leave them in the returns box just inside the library door.  A library volunteer will return it to the shelf for you.
If there is any fault or damage to any item that you borrowed, please let us know.

Opening Hours

Our library is open each Saturday from 1030-1100am and then also for half an hour following the main church service (time varies).

How To Support Your Library

Supporting the library can be as easy as using the library resources!  But if you want to help a bit more, read on for some other ways you can support the church library:

If you've read a great book or watched an interesting DVD, promote that amongst your church friends.  You can even leave a book review by using the Contact Us page below.  We will share reviews on this page from time to time.

Caring for our resources.  Report any damage, care for the resources that you borrow, be aware of DVDs and CDs that easily scratch.  Caring for our resources allows them to be borrowed by many people over many years.
We are always grateful to receive donated items.  We use the same selection policy for donated items as we do for new resources.  If you wish to donate items, please first read our Donations Policy (available soon).

Helping with financial support is always welcome.  This assists us in providing new items, subscribing to the ABC's Book of the Month, purchasing lending cards & stationery, as well as other projects.   One such long-term project is the transfer of VHS recordings to DVD to ensure the longevity of the collection.   To make a donation, you can mark your tithe envelope with "Library" and put your nominated amount in the envelope.  Alternatively you can donate directly into the donations box in the library, however Librarians are not able to receipt donations. Please let us know if you need a receipt so that we can organise this with our Church Treasurer.
